Christine McGinley, MA Forensic Psychology / Clinical Director

Led by Christine, a retired NYPD officer with17 years of experience in the mental health field, we understand unique challenges individuals face. Christine’s extensive background allows her to offer invaluable support including court testimony and documentation for Social Security Disability applications and IEP creation. Dr. Debra Verna

Dr. Debra is Safe Haven's New Nurse Practitioner for Medication Management- and we are so grateful to have her! Too many credentials go over, but Dr. Debbie has over 15 years' experience in all fields and has maintained a policy that works withing the model of Safe Haven Counseling; Compassionate communication with the patient while providing diligent mental health/ medication care. This conscientious approach allows the patients at Safe Haven to get the most diligent and comprehensive care in East Tennessee.
Lindsay Plemons, LMSW
Lindsay is an amazing addition to the Safe Haven Counseling! Lindsay has 6 years' experience in the Mental Health field, with the most of her work concentrating on children and families and its complex dynamic. In addition to working with residential justice services and school-based services: Lindsay is compassionate and detailed oriented which makes her an exceptionally effective counselor and advocate.
